Abstract
Background: The hospital is one of the complex health service facilities and has a broader function regarding the function of improving health, preventing disease, curing disease and restoring health by bringing services closer to the community. One of the determining factors for the success of pharmaceutical and health services is the rational use of drugs. WHO provides a definition of patients receiving drugs according to their clinical needs, at the right dose individually, at a measured time of use, and affordable by the patient concerned, or the surrounding community. However, not all hospitals can meet these requirements due to the lack of available resources and the conditions of each hospital. This prompted researchers to conduct a survey related to the condition of drug use in one of the Kebumen district hospitals. Purpose: Knowing the Evaluation Service Quality in the Outpatient Pharmacy Installation of RS PKU Muhammadiyah Petahan Method: This study is a prospective study in which the sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique which was carried out randomly and then calculated using the slovin method. Results: The average number of drug items per prescription is 4.96, the percentage of drug items prescribed with generic names is 80%, the percentage of drug prescriptions with antibiotics is 22%, the percentage of drug prescriptions with injection preparations is 10%, the percentage of drug items prescribed in accordance with the National Formulary by 86.69%, the average speed of prescription service is 15 minutes (concoction), 20 minutes (finished drugs) Conclusion : The average number of drug items per prescription, the percentage of drug items prescribed with a generic name, the percentage of drug items prescribed in accordance with the National Formulary did not meet the standards of WHO and the Indonesian Ministry of Health.
