Abstract
Background : Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease and can not be cured but can be controlled. Complications include hypoglycemia and ketoacidosis which will cause the patient fell and pain. Objective : To provide nursing care to overcome the problems of security and comfort of pain in patients with diabetes mellitus who have fallen. Nursing : On the client using methods diagnose both direct and indirect, of anamnesis directly obtained data about the state of the client complains of pain increases when moving, pain such as tingling, pain in the back, pain scale 6, continuous pain, and obtained diagnosis nursing that arise are acute pain associated with physical injury agents, lack of knowledge about diabetes mellitus associated with lack of information about diet disease. Nursing Innovation: By doing deep breathing relaxation distraction proven to overcome the interference safety and comfort of pain.
