Abstract
Background: One of the health problems which is a contagious disease that attacks the respiratory system Tuberculosis. Causing shortness of breath which may result in disruption of oxygenation needs. Aim of Nursing Care: To provide an overview of nursing care to meet the needs of oxygenation problems in clients with Tuberculosis. Nursing Care: Nursing care at Mr. S conducted over three days starting on June 9 to June 11 2016 in Cempaka ward of Dr. Sudirman Regional Hospital Kebumen, when examined complaint data obtained main client is the client says shortness of breath, a dry cough, a client of said hand trembling and excessive sweating since pain. So there is gas exchange disorders nursing problems associated with imbalances perfusion-ventilation. Intervention and implementation has been done is given oxygen therapy. Evaluation of these actions is reduced breathlessness and RR becomes 28x / minute. Analysis of the action: For handling the gas exchange disorders innovation nursing actions are recommended to address Tuberculosis by providing oxygen therapy.
