Abstract

Background: Stroke is a cerebrovascular disease that is often found in developed and developing countries. Globally, 1.5 million cases of stroke continue to increase every year. The symptoms that often appear are hemiparase or hemiplegia, namely the limitation of limbs that interferes with Daily Living Activities. To prevent complications, it is necessary to carry out mobilization exercises that aim to be able to meet the needs of a healthy life, and slow down the disease process. One of the physiotherapy methods to find non-hemorrhagic stroke patients is muscle strength, one of which is the application of Range Of Motion (ROM). Objectives: Explaining the analysis of managed cases with Non Hemorrhagic Stroke (SNH) with the Range Of Motion (ROM) method. Methods: This research used descriptive case study method. The subjects of this study were SNH patients according to the criteria. Result: Nursing diagnosis is physical mobility barriers. Intervention: SLKI increased muscle strength, increased motion control, increased balance of motion, increased stability of motion and increased movement in the desired direction. SIKI exercise program management by giving ROM therapy to SNH patients, by following the procedure according to the applicable SOP, with a duration of 20 minutes every day for 1x a day for 3 consecutive days. For the evaluation based on the five patients who underwent ROM, there was an increase in muscle strength in some patients with the main diagnosis being impaired physical mobility in SNH patients. Conclusion: There was an effect of giving ROM to increase muscle strength in SNH patients
