Abstract
Background: Cases of diabetes in Indonesia to date tend to increase from the results of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Atlas 2017 report. From India, China, Brazil, Mexico, and the United States, in Indonesia the number of people with diabetes aged 20- 79 years is around 10. 3 million people, this makes Indonesia the 6th country in the world with the highest number of sufferers. Diabetes Mellitus treatment pattern is an activity to keep diabetics in control of blood sugar levels within normal limits and prevent or slow down the occurrence of complications such as diet, exercise/exercise, therapy, monitoring blood sugar levels, and education. Objective: To analyze the application of moist wound healing nursing care in diabetic ulcer patients with impaired skin integrity in Hj. Anna Lasmanah Banjarnegara Methods: This research uses descriptive method and case study method. Descriptive method is a collection of objects, usually intended to create or describe phenomena (including health) that occur in certain populations Nursing Care Outcomes: Based on the results of the wound score assessment using the Bates Jensen Wound Assessment Tool (BJWAT) data were obtained that there was an improvement in the condition of the wound which could be seen from the decrease in the wound score in the BJWAT. The lower the BJWAT score, the better the wound condition. Wound care carried out with modern dressings shows that there are tissue changes that occur in several components of the BJWAT wound assessment, including reduced percentage of wound size, depth, granulation, epithelialization, reduced amount of necrotic tissue and the amount of fluid that appears. Recommendation: The results of this nursing care can be used as a reference for the management of nursing care for impaired skin integrity by providing moist wound healing in diabetic ulcer patients
