Abstract

Background: Adolescence is a period that is vulnerable to reproductive health. The problem of adolescent reproductive health has not been resolved properly, although many efforts have been made both formally and informally. Adolescents aged 12-15 years are the right period for early reproductive health education, so media that are in accordance with their needs and developments are needed. “Reproductive Health Game (KEPO Game)” is designed for teenagers, in which there are games that can increase the motivation of adolescent reproductive health. KEPO games provide opportunities for teenagers to play educational games continuously and then try, imitate and apply them to themselves. Objective: Determining the effect of game media on adolescent knowledge about reproductive health. Methods: This research was qualitative descriptive with a case study designed. Data obtained from the questionnaire scores. Respondents consisted of 6 teenagers aged 15-19 years. The instrument used was a pre-test and post-test game application questionnaire. Result : After education about adolescent reproductive health with games, there is an increase in knowledge about reproductive health in all respondents with good category. Conclusion: Game education media can help increase adolescent knowledge about reproductive health.
