Abstract
Background: Patient satisfaction is an important indicator in assessing the quality of health services. Patient satisfaction can be influenced by various factors, one of which is waiting time. Long waiting times can cause patients to feel uncomfortable and dissatisfied with the services provided. Objective: to determine the relationship between waiting time and outpatient satisfaction at RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Kutowinangun Method: The research uses a correlation method with a cross-sectional approach. The study involved 100 patients using a simple random sampling method. The instrument or measuring tool used in this research was that the researcher used a stopwatch to measure the patient's waiting time to receive medical services, while satisfaction with outpatient and inpatient services was measured using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively and correlatively. Results: The waiting time for outpatients is in the poor category. Outpatients are very satisfied. There is a relationship between waiting time and outpatient satisfaction at RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Kutowinangun Recommendation: There is a written policy issued in the form of a fixed procedure/SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) related to outpatient services, specifically determining service standards regarding patient waiting times in outpatient care that are enforced.
