Abstract
Background: A fracture is loss of part of bone or all of the bone, usually caused by trauma. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020 fracture cases increased, there was a fracture incidence of approximately 13 million people with a prevalence rate of 2.7%. Fractures can cause pain that lasts a long time if not treated immediately. Benson Relaxation Therapy can increase oxygen in the body which will cause a relaxed state so that the resulting pain perception is low. Objective: Describe nursing care with acute pain of nursing problems by providing intervention Benson Relaxation therapy at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Method: This study used descriptive analysis methods. The case studies were conducted 2 times 10 minutes for 3 consecutive days. Case study results: After Benson Relaxation therapy 2 times 10 minutes for 3 consecutive days. The client experienced a decrease in the pain scale with the observation of the pain scale obtained results, in client 1 Sdr. E pain scale 6 to 4, client 2 Mrs. M scale 6 to 5, client 3 Mr. S scale 5 to 4. So it can be said that after the application of the pain problem can be resolved Recommendation: Benson's Relaxation Therapy can be done independently because it easily and effectively reduces pain scales in fracture patients.
