Abstract
Background: Fracture is divided into a closed fracture and an open fracture. A fracture patient would have felt pain in reaction to tissue disorders. Pain isa sensory and emotional subjective experience that is unpleasant and has to do with damage to both the actual and potential networks felt on an event and can affect daily activities. Pain in a fracture patient is referred to as acute pain from a moderate to severe intensity for less than 3 months. Objective: Describes the emergency care system with the acute pain nursing problem of a fracture with Benson relaxation therapy. Method: This research used qualitative descriptive approuch. This method obtain the data trough analysis which is then interpreted. In this research, responden there are 3 clients with 3 days care. Result: This Benson relaxation on external fractur patients applicated in an attempt to lower the scale of pain has been effective with an average of a 2-scale decrease in a lightweight to moderate range (1-6). Patient I from scale 4 to 1, patient II from scale 6 to 1, patient III from scale 5 to 1. Recommendation : The application of Benson relaxation therapy on external fractures has been effective, reducing the scale of pain 2 in a lightweight range to moderate (1-6).
