Abstract
Background: Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by a rise in blood glucose caused by a drop of insulin secretion by a beta cell known as the pancreatic resistance disorder. Diabetes mellitus can cause ulcers that are a damage to the skin's integrity caused by perispheric circulatory disorders that cause tissue decay and necrosis. The ulcer catches her without quick and effective treatment could cause amputation. Therapy with olive oil is one of the nonpharmacological therapies that can be used to cope with complaints of mellitus diabetic wounds, since olive oil contains oleochantal, vitamin e, vitamin k and vitamin c that help repair wounds. The Purpose: To illustrate the incidence of diabetes mellitus (dm) with skin and tissue integrity disorder nursing problems using olive oil therapy in the village pekuncen. Research methods: This research used a descriptive analysis method. The case studies work conducted during the 6 time meeting of 3 respondents using an observation sheet. Results: After an application of olive oil therapy on the wounds during the 6 times the reddish, ecsudate, and the odor drops. And also obtained results of the reduced wounds to an average of 1.64 cm. Recommendation: Wounds with diabetes mellitus can be overcome by using olive oil therapy as non-pharmacological therapy for dealing with reddish, ecsudate, unhealed wounds and bad smells. It can also be performed independently by home sufferers.
