Abstract
Background: Fertile-aged women often suffer fromleucorrhea due to lack of cleanliness attention on genetalia area. This is caused bythe contraceptives and also becauseof humid weather.These conditions can facilitate the spreading of fungal infections, especially of Indonesian women. This leucorrhea can be overcomeby non-pharmacology therapy. It’s done by consuming aloe vera jelly. This kind of jellyis rich in nutritional content and hasno side effect. The writer, therefore,is interested ingiving aloe verajelly to reduce leucorrhoea. Objective: This studyaims to provide aloe vera jelly to reduce leucorrhea oncontraceptives IUD, to identify leucorrhea before and after being given aloe vera jelly. Method: This study isananalytical descriptive.The writer describes the facts of the assessment obtained through interviews and direct observation, and then being documented. The study was conducted in March-April 2017. Result: After consuming aloe vera jelly,the first participant had leucorrhoeadecrease (from 6 points to 3 points). The leucorrhoea was becomingless, not thick, not sticy and the genital was dry after defecating or urinating with tissu. The second participant got a change from 6 points to 3 points decrease – the leucorrhea was getting less, not thick and her genital was dry after defecating or urinating. The third participant had a change from 7 points to 4 points decrease – the leucorrhoea was becomingless, not thick, not sticy. Conclusion: Consuming aloe vera jellycan reduce leucorrhoea onfertile-aged women in independent midwifery clinic (BPM) of Ida Ayu Astiti, S.ST in Kebumen.
