Abstract
Background: Almost 90% of normal labor process causes perineal rupture, whether with or without episiotomi. The effect of perineal rupture of postpartum mother will be easily possible to have infection unless being well treated. And this will influence tghe recovery of the rupture. Sitz Bath method using boiled water of wuluh starfruit is a very useful anti-flamation activity for recovering medical ruptures. Therefore, the writer is interested in conducting a case study of an innovation about the application of Sitz Bath using boiled water of Wuluh fruitstar leaf in the effort of accelerating the perineal rupture. Objective: To know the application of Sitz Bath using boiled water of Wuluh starfruit leaf for accelerating the recovery of perineal rutpture. Method: This study is an analytical descriptive with case study approach. This was done by describing the facts obtained from the interviews and direct observation to get accurate conclusion. Result: After applying Sitz Bath using boiled water of Wuluh starfruit leaf, there is an accelerating recovery of perineal rupture of postpartum mother. Conclusion: Sitz Bath using boiled water of Wuluh starfruit leaf is effective to accelerate the recovery of perineal rupture.
