Abstract
Background, the prevalence of stunting is still a serious challenge, including in the working area of the Rakit 2 Community Health Center. Various risk factors such as maternal nutritional status, parenting patterns, and access to health services play an important role in the incidence of stunting. A deeper understanding of these risk factors is needed to support prevention efforts. Research purposes, analyze the risk factors associated with the incidence of stunting in the work area of the Rakit 2 Community Health Center. Research methods, This research uses a correlational quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. A sample of 100 toddlers was selected at simple random. Data was collected through questionnaires, observations and anthropometric measurements. Analysis was carried out using the chi-square test and multivariate analysis. Research result, showed that the age of the toddler (p=0.632), the gender of the toddler (p=0.551), the mother's education (p=0.118), the history of the mother's CED (p=0.227), the history of the LBW toddler (p=0.206), and the history of exclusive breastfeeding ( p=0.599) was not significantly related to the incidence of stunting, while maternal knowledge (p=0.001), early initiation of breastfeeding (IMD) (p=0.043), and water source (p=0.047) shows a significant relationship with the incidence of stunting. Conclusion, IMD, maternal knowledge, and water sources are the main factors in the incidence of stunting in the Rakit 2 Health Center Working Area. Recommendation, Further research is recommended to explore specific interventions on these major risk factors, as well as strengthening nutrition education programs and improving clean water sources
