Abstract

Background: Bronchopneumonia can occur as a result of microbial inhalation in the air, organismal aspiral from the nasopharynx or hematogenous spread from distant infectious foci. Objective: To provide anxiety nursing care to pre-school child patients diagnosed with bronchopneumonia in the Gatotkaca Room at RSU Aghisna Medika Kroya Method: Using descriptive methods with a case study approach. The case study subjects that will be treated are 4 patients suffering from bronchopneumonia with pre-school age anxiety. The tools in this research are the nursing care format, Nursing Kit, play medical equipment, SCAS Questionnaire, and play therapy SOP, the author presents the data with interesting conclusions based on subjective data and the objectives presented in the documentation method and nursing care resume. Results: The results of the assessment showed that the four patients had the same main complaints, namely anxiety, fever, stuffy nose, weakness and no appetite. The priority cause diagnosis in Patients I-IV is Anxiety related to a situational crisis. The bleeding interventions carried out were anxiety reduction (I.09314) and medical play therapy. The implementation of bleeding is anxiety reduction (I.09314) and medical play therapy. The results of the evaluation of the four patients showed that the anxiety problem had been resolved with an indication of a reduction in signs of anxiety symptoms in inpatients in bronchopneumonia sufferers in pre-school aged children. The results of innovations in play therapy medical care for children with anxiety problems. Hospitalization of preschool aged children with bronchopneumonia showed a reduction in symptoms of anxiety. Hospitalization of pre-school aged children with bronchopneumonia. The evaluation results for the four patients showed decreased verbalization of discomfort, decreased verbalization of worry due to facing conditions, decreased restless behavior, decreased tense behavior. Recommendation: The results of this nursing care can be used as a reference for preparing SOPs for handling anxiety using medical play therapy
