The elderly experience decreased function of muscle tissue and body organs, including the heart, liver, brain, and kidneys. This phase marks the final stage in the cycle of human life reality, which usually begins at the age of ≥60 years. Problems that often occur in the elderly are ineffective health maintenance. Purpose: Describes family nursing care at the development stage of elderly stroke with ineffective health maintenance nursing problems in Tamanwinangun village. Research methods: The research method in this case study involves an in-depth exploration of a program, an event, a process, and also an activity, which will focus on one or more individuals. Results: After nursing care is carried out, the client can demonstrate the therapy that has been taught, namely ROM, and experience increased muscle stretching in the client. Recommendation: It was concluded that each client was able to follow progressive muscle relaxation therapy well. The effectiveness of the therapy was proven through the increase in ineffective health that occurred consistently after each therapy session.
