Abstract
The management of pharmaceutical supplies at Puskesmas encompasses planning, procurement, receiving, storage, destruction, supervision, documentation, and reporting. The general objective of this study is to examine the mechanism of pharmaceutical supply management at Puskesmas Ambal I. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection was conducted through the collection of both primary and secondary data sources. The findings of this study indicate that pharmaceutical services and the management of pharmaceutical supplies as well as Medical Consumable Materials (BMHP) at Puskesmas Ambal I, Kebumen Regency, have been implemented appropriately in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) applicable at Puskesmas Ambal I. Furthermore, the implementation is in compliance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 74 of 2016 concerning standards for pharmaceutical services in community health centers (Puskesmas), which include planning, requisition, receiving, storage, distribution, control and disposal, documentation, reporting, and archiving. However, several deficiencies, particularly related to drug storage management, require further review and evaluation in order to make necessary improvements.
