Abstract

Background, high risk pregnancy is a condition that can increase the possibility of complications during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. Factors that contribute to high risk in pregnancy include maternal age, nutritional status, history of bleeding, history of preeclampsia, and parity. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with high risk of pregnancy at the Kuwarasan Community Health Center, Kebumen Regency. Research Purposes, analyze factors associated with high risk of pregnancy at the Kuwarasan Health Center, Kebumen Regency. Research Methods, this uses quantitative methods with a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study was all pregnant women who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, which were obtained through the total sampling method. Data were collected using observation sheets and analyzed using the Chi-Square test with a confidence level of 95% (α = 0.05). Research Results, showed that there was a significant relationship between maternal age (p < 0.05), nutritional status (p < 0.05), history of bleeding (p < 0.05), history of preeclampsia (p < 0.05), and parity (p < 0.05) with high risk of pregnancy. Maternal age <20 years or >35 years, poor nutritional status, and ahistory of bleeding and preeclampsia significantly increase the risk of pregnancy complications. Conclusion, the factors age, nutritional status, history of bleeding, history of preeclampsia, and parity have a significant relationship with high risk of pregnancy. Therefore, early detection and intensive monitoring of pregnant women with high risk factors is very necessary to prevent complications that can harm the mother and fetus.
