Abstract

Background, stunting is a major health problem that impacts children's physical and cognitive growth. In the Bulus Pesantren II Community Health Center working area, the prevalence of stunting reached 10.9%, higher than the national figure, influenced by inappropriate feeding patterns. Research Objectives, This study aims to analyze the relationship between feeding patterns and the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 12–59 months. Research Method, research design using a cross-sectional approach. A sample of 100 toddlers was selected at simple random. Data was collected through questionnaires, observations and anthropometric measurements, then analyzed using the Chi-square test. Research results, There is a relationship between feeding patterns and the incidence of stunting in children aged 1-5 years in the Buluspesantren II Health Center work area. In conclusion, feeding patterns are significantly related to the incidence of stunting. Education on balanced eating patterns and increasing access to nutritious food are important steps to reduce stunting rates. Recommendations for Further Research, future research can explore other factors such as history of exclusive breastfeeding, birth weight, and environmental conditions that influence stunting
