Abstract

Background: Stroke is not purely a disease of the nervous system, but a cerebrovascular disease that affects nerve function. In Indonesia, stroke is the highest cause of death and disability. According to the results of the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey, the prevalence of stroke in Indonesia is 8.3:1,000 population. Results of Riskesdas (2019) risk factors for Stroke are obesity, hypercholesterol, HT, DM, diet and smoking. Methods: The study that the author carried out is by way of a case study approach with a descriptive methodology. This case study will use emergency nursing care provided to patients with Non-Haemorrhagic Stroke. The cycle of the researcher collects information from nursing assessments, establishes nursing diagnoses, prepares nursing plans, practices nursing implementation, and conducts nursing evaluations. The subjects were 6 SNH patients who came to the Emergency Room of PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Results: DS assessment: patients said that their hands and feet felt weak and could not move. DO: Extremity muscle strength decreases, pelo speaking, SpO2 levels decrease, TD can increase/stay, RR rises, N rises/stay Nursing diagnosis Risk of ineffective cerebral perfusion b.d Hypertension. Implementation by giving a 30-degree head up position for 60 minutes and remeasuring SpO2 every 30 minutes. The evaluation was ≥95% SpO2 above 95% and 1 patient with SpO2 levels below 95%. Recommendation: Academic: as a scientific reference, especially in the field of health sciences. Practice: The government so that policies can use the results of research as a basis for policy determination, especially in the health sector. Nursing: as an evidence-based practice in providing independent nursing. Hospital: so that the management of PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital can prepare an SOP for the action of the 30-degree head up position.
