Abstract

Background: Febris seizure is the most common acute neurogical disorder in children aged 6 monts to 4 years, trigered by elevated body temperatur. Approximately 2-5% of children experience this condition, and if not managed properly, it may lead to serious complications. Prompt management through fluid administration and supportive therapy is crucial to prevent further adverse outcomes. Objective: This study sims to analize nursing care in childre with hypertermia assosiated with simple febrile seizures through the aplication of fuild management and other nursing intervention. Results: A case study was conducted on a 5-years old child with a body temperature of 39°C. Interventions included fluid administration, warm compresses, monitoring of vital sign and family education, which successfully reduced the child temperature to the normal range 36,5°C–37,5°. The evaluation showed imprvements in the child condition, a decrease in hypertermia signs, and increased family understanding of child care. Recommendations:Nurse are expected to perform regular temperature monitoring, provide family education, and support fluid and simple nutritional needs, such as diluted fruit juice without additional sweeternes, to help prevent recurrence
