Abstract

Background, adolescence is a transition phase from childhood to adulthood, characterized by significant physical and emotional changes. Adolescents often experience emotional fluctuations in the search for identity, so family support through effective coping is very important. Parenting that emphasizes behavioral control, with clear and empathetic communication, is necessary to prevent conflict and emotional problems such as rebellion and anxiety. Purpose, find out the results of adolescent stage family nursing care with the problem of ineffective family coping in Semarang Village, Banjarnegara District, Banjarnegara Regency Methodology, this study uses a case study approach applied to five families who are at the adolescent stage and experiencing ineffective coping. Subject selection was carried out using the convenience sampling method. Data was collected through interviews, observation, intervention implementation, evaluation, and documentation. This approach aims to understand family dynamics and identify factors that influence coping in facing adolescent challenges. Nursing Care Results, the assessment showed that the ineffectiveness of coping was caused by communication problems. Parental busyness inhibits positive interactions, and dysfunctional adaptation patterns trigger juvenile delinquency. The nursing intervention was carried out in three sessions, lasting 60 to 90 minutes, including discussion, goal setting, strengthening communication, anger management, and coping support. As a result, the family succeeded in understanding the problem, improving coping mechanisms, and supporting the teenager's recovery.
