Abstract
Background: For children, healthy is healthy within the range of health and illness. Health is optimal physical, mental, and social well-being that is achieved throughout the child's life, according to his age. Sick conditions can be experienced by children in their growth and development period and experience symptoms, such as hyperthermia. Hyperthermia will appear in various diseases such as infectious diseases. Research Objectives: Research Objectives: To describe nursing care in children with the fulfillment of basic needs thermoregulation: Hyperthermia in children with fever. Method: This type of research is a case study with 5 hyperthermic patients as research subjects. This study focuses on nursing care for children by fulfilling the basic needs of thermoregulation: Hyperthermia in children with fever. The presentation of the data carried out in research writing uses the presentation in the form of narration and tables. Documentation is presented in the form of nursing care to draw conclusions based on subjective and objective data. The results of the study: There was a decrease in signs of hyperthermia before and after the innovation of the tepid sponge water action, namely a decrease in temperature towards normal, improved skin turgor, improved pulse and respiratory rate. Conclusion: the application of the typed sponge water action innovation can overcome the hyperthermia problem
