Abstract

Background, Toddlers are children aged between 0 and 59 months. During this period, growth and development occurs very quickly, resulting in changes that require more nutritional intake and better nutritional quality. Giving massage can reduce coughs and colds in children under five who have acute respiratory infections. This massage can reduce excessive secretion production, thereby reducing coughs and colds. Objective, Analyzing Complementary Midwifery Care with the Main Problem of Coughs and Colds in Toddlers by providing massage therapy Methodology, The design used was a case report approach (case study) by taking as subjects 5 toddlers who had coughs and colds As a result of nursing care, Obstetric problems include coughs and colds in toddlers with data on clients experiencing respiratory problems and excessive secretions. The results of the analysis for all patients showed that the majority were in the bad category. The action is carried out by providing massage therapy for 3 days and 3 meetings. The majority of the results of providing massage therapy decreased after the treatment was given. with a cough and cold condition before the massage, 1 respondent (20%) had a bad condition, 3 respondents (60%) had a fair condition and 1 respondent (20%) had a good condition after the massage, 1 respondent had a moderate condition (20%) and a respondent in very good condition ( 80 %). The recommendation It is hoped that we can carry out case studies with more respondents and can apply massage therapy to reduce coughs and colds in toddlers
