Abstract

Background, Pharmaceutical Wholesalers (PBF) have a significant responsibility in distributing medicines by ensuring their safety, quality, and effectiveness before they circulate in the community. Medicines, as part of healthcare services, must be properly managed, whether produced domestically or imported, in accordance with applicable regulations. Every PBF has a Good Distribution Practice for Medicines (CDOB) certificate, which covers procurement, storage, recall, and return of medicines. Returns are made by customers to the seller due to damage, delivery errors, or product defects, which are then followed up with replacements or discounts. Objective, This study was conducted to understand the Overview of the Return Procedure Flow at PT. Sehat Bersama Sejahtera Purbalingga Branch in accordance with BPOM Regulation Number 20 of 2025. Method, this study was conducted using a non-experimental research method because it did not use treatment on the test subjects. This method was carried out by analyzing the conformity of the return procedure flow at PBF Sehat Bersama Sejahtera with CDOB (Good Drug Distribution Practices). Results, The research results indicate that observations conducted in the returns section revealed several stages of the goods return procedure at PT. Sehat Bersama Sejahtera Purbalingga Branch, namely: Drugs that can be returned, Document inspection, Physical inspection of goods, Administrative process, Goods settlement process, Approval of return notes, Issuance of return notes, Receipt of return notes by customers. This is in accordance with the Regulation of the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency Number 20 of 2025 concerning GDP (Good Distribution Practices for Medicines). Recommendation, further research needs to be conducted on the return procedure flow at PT. Sehat Bersama Sejahtera Purbalingga Branch.
