Abstract

Background: Factors related to the completeness of baby basic immunization are knowledge, motives, experience, employment, family support, environmental facilities, attitudes, health workers, income, parents who forget the immunization schedule and education as well. The importance of baby basic immunization and that parents easily forget the immunization schedule make the writer interested in the innovation of immunization calendar. Objective: To use the immunization calendar in baby immunization activity for knowing the mother's knowledge level before and after being given health education about immunization, and knowing the obedience of mother’s visit according to immunization schedule. Method: This study is an analytical descriptive with case study approach (case study). Result: After being given the immunization calendar, all participants (mothers) become obedient to immunize their babies (infants) according to the schedule. This was on 11 May 2017 when they took their infants for DPT 1 and Polio 2 immunization. Conclusion: The use of immunization calendar is effective in immunization activity to make the mothers obedient to follow the immunization schedule
