Abstract

Background drug distribution is a crucial component of the healthcare system to ensure the availability of medicines that are of good quality, safe, and delivered on time. The Pharmaceutical Warehouse of the Cilacap District Health Office plays a central role as a pharmaceutical logistics center for a wide area with diverse geographical challenges. Non-compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP/CDOB) standards has the potential to cause drug damage, which may impact patient safety. Research Objective this study aims to evaluate the level of implementation of Good Drug Distribution Practices (CDOB) at the Pharmaceutical Warehouse of the Cilacap District Health Office. Research Method the research used a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through structured interviews with pharmacists and pharmaceutical personnel, direct observation using a CDOB standard checklist, and document review related to drug management. Results data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, which were then compared with the standards set by the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority Regulation Number 9 of 2019. The evaluation covered 12 main aspects of CDOB, including quality management, organization, facilities, operations, and the handling of special products such as Cold Chain Products (CCP) and narcotics. Conclusion the results provide a descriptive overview of the warehouse’s level of compliance with storage standards and temperature control, including the implementation of FEFO (First Expired First Out) and FIFO (First In First Out) methods.
