Abstract

This study aims to determine the drug storage system at the Pejagoan Community Health Center (Puskesmas). A Puskesmas is a health care institution responsible for providing primary and public health efforts, with a primary focus on prevention and health promotion within its working area. Pharmaceutical services are direct and responsible services to patients related to pharmaceutical preparations, with the aim of achieving definitive results to improve the quality of life of patients with pharmaceutical preparations, including drugs, medicinal ingredients, traditional medicines, and cosmetics. Storage of pharmaceutical preparations must meet established requirements to maintain guaranteed quality and avoid chemical and physical damage. Several considerations in storing pharmaceutical preparations in the warehouse include the form and type of preparation, stability, explosive/flammable properties, and the storage of narcotics and psychotropic substances in a special cabinet (Permenkes RI, 2014).
