Abstract
Background: Anxiety experienced by mother include anxiety about preparation of labor because of trimester III. The prevalence (morbidity) of anxiety disorders rangers from 6-7% of the general population. Research conducted using Hamilton Ratinf Scale For Anxiety, an anxiety disorder prevalence of 8-12%. Objective: The application of murotal therapy and lavender aromatherapy to decrease the anxiety of trimester pregnant women, know the level of anxiety before and after application of murotal therapy and lavender aromatherapy in the third trimester pregnant women. Method: Using case study method. In this case researchers describe and describe the facts of the assessment obtained through interviews and direct observation, and documentation. The study was conducted from May 3 to May 16 2017. Results: The application of murotal therapy and lavender aromatherapy was applied to the three participants for two weeks. In the three participants showed decreased anxiety after treatment given murotal therapy and giving lavender aromatherapy. Conclusion: The application of murotal therapy and giving lavender aromatherapy can reduce anxiety in pregnant women trimester III.
