Abstract
Background: Anemia in pregnancy is one of the causes of the high maternal mortality rate in developing countries. The effort to overcome iron nutritional anemia of pregnant mother is nationally done by increasing the coverage of tablet fe supplement. Herbal, such as guava can be used to increase hemoglobin in pregnant mother. The mineral of a guava can overcome anemia because it can accelerate the formation process of red blood cells hemoglobin. Objective: Providing midwifery care for pregnant mothers with medium anemia in trimester III in independent midwifery clinic of Yuspoeni, Kebumen. Method: This research is an analytical descriptive with a case study approach. Data was obtained through direct observation. Result: After having tablet fe and guava juice for 14 days, there was an increase in Hb, i.e. 10,1 g/dL to be 11,2 g/dL(participant I), 9,2 g/dL, be 10,1 g/dL (participant II), 10,4 g/dL, be 11 g/dL (participant III). Conclusion: Consuming red guava juice can increase the hemoglobin level of pregnant mothers with anemia.
