Abstract
Backgroud: Cancer in Indonesia is the fifth highest cause of death, with The highest in Inonesia in 2013, ie 0.8% of cervical cancer and breast cancer of 0.5%. Side e result from chemotherapy directly, namely nausea and severe vomiting.Aron therapiutic action by using essential oils are benefical for improving the psychological state so as to be better. With essential oils of ginger that has good a with nausea and vomiting, so that this therapy may be one way to cope with complaints after chemotherapy. objective: To know aromatherapy effectiveness of ginger againts nausea an chemotherapy patients with cervical ca The Hospital Prof DR Margono Soekarjo Method: The design used is the type of research using quantitative analytical resea gropu and intervention. Results: Result testpaired t test shows the value p value 000> 0.05 so therechange nausea and vomiting is patients undergoing chemotherapy cervical ea after ad ginnger aromatherapy. Conclusion: The use of aromatherapy ginger yield positive results in reducin vomiting cervical ca patients undergoing chemotherapy. Suggestion: The use of aromatherapy ginger to be tested in more respondents in severe and vomiting at alevel to determine the exient of the effectiv therapies.
