Abstract
Background: STEMI can cause severe chest pain that cannot be relieved by rest. Pain in ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients who are not treated can cause anxiety, emotional distress, and can't rest. To overcome the presence of chest pain in patients with ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), the role of the nurse as a form of independent intervention is needed, namely providing one of the therapies, namely relaxation, which in this case can be done with breath relaxation in combination with murottal Al-Qur'an. Objectives: To provide nursing care providing a combination of deep breathing relaxation and murottal Al-Quran therapy for ST Elevation Miocard Infarction (STEMI) patients with acute pain in the ER PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Methods: The research method is descriptive with a case study approach. The case study subjects that will be studied are 5 patients with the main problem of acute pain. The tools in this study were the nursing care format, Nursing Kit, SOP for a combination of deep breath relaxation and murottal Al- Quran. The pain measurement tool that will be used uses the NRS Scale Measurement. Presentation of data that the author does by drawing conclusions based on subjective and objective data, which is presented in the documentation method and nursing care resume Results: The results of the study showed that both patients, Patients I-V had the same main complaint of acute pain in the left chest. The priority nursing diagnosis in Patients I-V is acute pain as evidenced in both patients who complain of pain on a scale of 6-7. The nursing interventions carried out were pain management, administration of analgesia, deep breath relaxation and murottal Al-Quran. The nursing implementation is pain management which includes comprehensive pain assessment, analgesic care, deep breathing relaxation and murottal Al-Quran. The results of the nursing evaluation in Patients I-V showed a decrease in pain symptoms after a combination therapy of deep breathing relaxation and murottal Al-Quran was carried out. Combination therapy of deep breathing relaxation and murottal Al- Quran is effective in reducing acute ST Elevation Miocard Infarct pain. The results of the pain scale assessment showed the results of acute pain management in ST Elevation Miocard Infarction (STEMI) patients with nature sound reducing pain 3-5 scales. Recommendation: The results of this nursing care can be used as a reference for the preparation of SOPs for pain management in ST Elevation Miocard Infarct patients.
