Abstract
Background: The global Covid-19 pandemic is still not over. The transmission of COVID-19 among nurses is still high. This is because nurses are at the forefront of health services who are vulnerable to contracting Covid-19. Objective: to get an overview of the risk factors for Covid-19 transmission to nurses at PKU Muhammadiyah Sruweng Hospital. Method: This type of research is descriptive. The sample was 51 nurses who were taken by total sampling. Analysis of the data using univariate analysis with the presentation of the frequency distribution. The instrument uses a questionnaire about the identity of nurses and internal and external factors of Covid-19 transmission and observation sheets to identify risk factors for Covid 19 transmission. Results: Most nurses have internal risk factors for contracting COVID-19 in early adulthood, namely 31 people (60.8%), female as many as 37 people (72.5%), not having comorbidities totaling 47 people (92, 2%), 48 people are not obese (94.1%), working in Non-Covid-19 care units, namely 37 people (72.5%), having a contact history of 51 people (100%), compliance in implementing health protocols with good category as many as 43 people (84.3%), and working hours < 10 hours, namely 51 people (100%) Conclusion: Internal risk factors for nurses contracting Covid-19 include early adulthood, female gender, no comorbidities, not obesity, while external factors include non-Covid-19 care work units, have a history of contact, adhere to health protocols, and hours work <10 hours. Recommendation: Nurses are expected to have high awareness in implementing health protocols properly
