Abstract

Background: There was a Coronavirus phenomenon or better known as Covid 19 in early December 2019, which is a new type of virus that infects the respiratory system, and there are still increasing cases until now so that it has an impact on the educational aspect, namely conducting online learning which results in teachers psychological changes . Objective: To find out the teachers psychological changes on elementary school children’s online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at Gombong elementary schools. Methods: The present study is descriptive quantitative research with cross sectional approach and 154 respondents taken by proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out in October 2021, the instrument used DASS 42 questionnaire which has a validity level and a reliability value of 0.91. Results: The study found that the majority of teachers in elementary schools at Gombong sub-district were female, 97 persons (63.0%), aged 18-40 112 persons (72.7%), income less than 1 million rupiah 75 persons (48, 7%), marital status married 132 persons (85.7%), working years more than 5 years 89 persons (57.8%), with the type of semi-online learning 154 persons (100%). Most of the teachers experienced psychological changes in the form of mild anxiety level 76 persons (49.4%), mild stress level 81 persons (52.6%), and depression at normal level 144 persons (93.5%). Conclusion : Most of the teachers in Gombong sub-district elementary schools experienced psychological changes in the form of anxiety, stress, and depression. of anxiety and stress, and did not experience depression. Recommendation: Future researchers are expected to be able to conduct research with different methods to obtain more in-depth data, and increase the number of samples.
