Abstract

Kugar Sari Laut is a salt business group located in Tanggulangin Village, Klirong District, Kebumen Regency, Central Java Province. Currently, the marketing media used are still using conventional methods, not using e-commerce media. One type of digital media that can be used for e-commerce is a website . In this study, the design of the e-commerce website for the Salt Sari Laut Business Group was carried out. The research stages start from identifying information needs, determining website design, publishing a website with a web beranda domain, and design validation. The results show that the information needs of website users are the price of salt, online purchase info, product types, salt processing, legality, halal, company profile, advantages over others, address, contact person, salt composition, and attractive appearance. Website design consists of beranda screen, company profile, salt processing, products, contact person. The results of the validation using usability tests show that the website is easy to learn, easy to find information, displays clear information, is easy to remember, satisfactory website design, and easy to open website menus.
