Abstract

Background: The World Health Organization (WHO) says that the world's delivery rate in 2021 was 24,016,020. The psychological condition of anxiety in maternity mothers greatly affects the physical functioning of the body Some efforts that can be made to reduce anxiety during childbirth are using caring for the affection of the mother and baby with the principle of including the husband and family during the process of childbirth and the birth of the baby. Purpose: To find out the relationship between husband's assistance to the anxiety of maternity mothers in the Maternity Room of PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Method: This study used quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The sample size in this study was 40 respondents with sampling techniques using purposive sampling. In analyzing the data bivariate, data testing was carried out using the Chi-square test with a significant level of 95%, Result:. The chi-Square assessment obtained a p-value of 0.042< 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted which means that there is a relationship between husband assistance to the anxiety of maternity mothers at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital Conclusion There is a relationship between husband assistance to the anxiety of maternity mothers at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital
