Abstract
Background: The birth ball is a tool that can be used to carry out birth control during pregnancy, but its use requires more attention so that the birth ball does not fall during birth, considering the round shape of the ball and the balance of the birth ball thereby carrying a large burden on the birth part. Birthing ball helps to massage the genital area of the pregnant woman's neck. The birth ball can help the mother's mother to be in an upright position, remaining upright while in the delivery process will allow the uterus to work as efficiently as possible by making the pelvic area more wide and open. In other words, it can stimulate dilation and increase pelvic ouletleit. If you lulruls above the ball then the gravitational force of the bulb will help the fetus or the most beautiful part of the fetus ulntulk seigeira tulruln kei pelvis. Objective: To carry out the application of the birthing ball technique to the delivery process in the birth mother. Method: This Scientific Writing use qualitative research with a case study research design using a partograph observation sheet . The application will be carried out from February to April 2023 by using the birthing ball technique during the birthing process. There were 5 respondents in the category of primiparous and multiparous mothers who were included in the inclusion criteria. Data was obtained through observation using a partograph and documentation. Results: From the application of the birthing ball technique to 5 respondents, there were normal results in the birthing process, reducing the risk of emergencies for the mother and baby, becoming more comfortable and calm. Conclusion: The application of the birthing ball technique to mothers giving birth results in changes in the birthing process.
