Abstract
Background: Families with pre-school age children are families who need to help children complete developmental tasks aged 3-6 years through activities carried out by children to improve skills. The problem that usually occurs in families is feeling worried about the response of those closest to them in stimulating the development of pre-school aged children. Objektife: Describes nursing care family in the stage of pre-school aged children development with declined family coping problems in the village of Serayu Larangan, Purbalingga. Method: This scientific paper used a case studied approached to family nursing cared which included assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation of preschool age developmental families. Results: Based on the assessment results of the three families who was in pre-school age child development with an average age of 3 years. These three families had a problem of decreasing family coping due to concerned in late fine motor development. The problem was that the intervention carried out colored played therapy for 3 consecutive days and obtained an increased in developed as expected and developed very well, although not all aspects had met. However, there had been an increased in both coloring criteria, namely held coloring tools and moved the wrist. Conclusion: Coloring play therapy was proven to be effective and partially resolved the problem of decreasing family coping & resolved the knowledge deficit.
