Abstract
Background: Hypertension is a condition where a person experiences an increase in blood pressure continuously and the frequency lasts for a long time because it is caused by an increase in the performance of the heart which pumps blood to meet the needs of oxygen and nutrients in the body. The main complaint felt by hypertension sufferers is back pain in the back of the head and if it is not treated immediately it will result in an increase in blood pressure and can cause the patient to experience pain (Rahmadhani, 2021). General Objective: Writing this scientific work aims to analyze nursing care for hypertensive patients with acute pain nursing problems at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Method: This research uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. The population in this study was 5 hypertensive patients with acute pain at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital and used total sampling to analyze 5 cases managed by patients, the instrument used a 5 finger hypnosis SOP which had previously been given a blood pressure observation sheet and pain scale before and after being given non-pharmacological therapy 5 finger hypnosis. Nursing Care Results: 5 finger hypnosis non-pharmacological therapy was given, observation sheets were given before and after it was applied to 5 patients, decreased the pain scale by an average of 1 and decreased systolic blood pressure by an average of 3 and diastolic blood pressure by an average of 2 which had been applied to 5 patients. Recommendation : The results of this study can be applied to hypertensive patients with acute pain with non-pharmacological 5 finger hypnosis therapy
