Abstract
Background :Sleep is a crucial factor for infant development, as it significantly influences physical, cognitive, and emotional growth. Several factors affect sleep quality, including adequate rest, environment, physical exercise, nutrition, and illness. Infant massage is a type of non-pharmacological therapy that stimulates the development of the brain's structure and function, thereby improving sleep quality. Objective: To explain the implementation of complementary midwifery care using infant massage and lavender aromatherapy to improve the sleep quality of infants aged 3-6 months at TPMB Restu Bunda. Method :This research employed an analytical description with a case study approach. The study involved a sample of 5 respondents aged 3-6 months at TPMB Restu Bunda, who received baby massage interventions 4 times. Results. The results showed that after the intervention of baby massage and lavender aromatherapy, 4 respondents (80%) had no sleep problems, and 1 respondent (20%) was in the moderate problem category. Recommendations :This midwifery care can be used as a reference to improve infant sleep quality through the provision of baby massage and lavender aromatherapy.
