Abstract
Background : Violent behavior is a situation where someone takes action which can be physically harmful both to themselves, others and the environment. One of the actions to control violent behavior used is the act of assertive therapy. Writing Purpose : Prosides an overview of nursing care for client’s risk of violence behavior by giving assertive therapy. Method : Analytic descriptive with a care study approach (2) clients who experienled violent behavior in Sidoluhur Village, Ambal, Kebumen. Results : After taking nursing care actions for 5 meetings, the was decrease in the signs and symptoms of violent behavior, client one by 80%, while client two by 90%, and there is an increase in assertive action one client by 75% and client two by 87,5%. Recommendation : Assertive Therapy can be applied to clients with risk of violent behavior at both hospital and community
