Abstract
Background: Non-hemoragic stroke is loss of brain function caused by the cessation of blood supply to parts of the brain. Usually caused by thrombosis, embolism, ischemia according the Basic Health Research 2013, the prevalence of stroke in Indonesia is 12.1 for 1,000 residents. That number increased compared to Riskesdas 2007 which was 8.3 percent. Stroke has become the main cause of death in almost all hospitals in Indonesia, which is 14.5 percent. One of interventions to increase muscle strength in SNH patients is mirror therapy. Mirror therapy includes superimposition of shadows from healthy limb movements to the paresis extremities for patients to observe that both of extremities can move. Objective: carry out an analysis of the cases of managed Non-Hemorragic Stroke (SNH) clients with hemiparesis in Prof. RSUD Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Hospital. Method: This study used descriptive research methods design. Result: After nursing mirror therapy for 3x24 hours. Of the three patients obtained data that there was a significant increase in muscle strength. The first patient experienced an increase in muscle from 1 to 3, third patient experienced an increase in muscle from 2 to 3. Method: This study used dscriptive research methodas design. The first patient experienced an increase in musle from 2 to 4, second patient experienced an increase in muscle from 1 to 3, third patient experienced an icrease in muscle from 2 to 3. Conclusion: The act of nursing mirror muscle therapy will be able increase muscle strength significantly. The first patient experiences an increase in muscle Recommendations: Results of research on the application of mirror therapy and can be used as reference material in hospitals, especially in cases of stroke patients who experience weakness in the limbs.
