Abstract
Background : Stroke is destruction of brain tissue caused by a lower or loss of blood supply suddenly. Rehabilitation is the healing process in people with stroke and to train patients in order to put up independently. According the Indonesia stroke foundation, that occurred in Indonesia any people this year is 500.000 or 0,2 % was suffering a stroke. Purpose : To know the relationship of stroke severity with the people motivation in carrying out a rehabilitation programme at RSUD KRT Setjonegoro Wonosobo. Method : The research uses a method of descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. Result : Most of the respondents sex are women (58,3%), and most of age more than or similar to 60 years (67%). There are meaningful relations between stroke severity with patients motivation in running rehabilitation program at RSUD KRT Setjonegoro Wonosobo with p value 0,000 and r -0,719. Conclusion : There are meaningful relations between stroke severity with patients motivation in running rehabilitation program at RSUD KRT Setjonegoro Wonosobo.
