Abstract
Background: The infant mortality rate in Indonesia in 2001 amounted to 50 babies per 1,000 live births and 34.7% were caused by perinatal mortality. The perinatal mortality associated with the birth of low birth weight babies, which is caused by premature, infection, asphyxia, hypothermia, and inadequate breast feeding (Pratiwi, Soetjiningsih, & Kardana, 2009). Hypothermia accounts for the infant mortality rate of 6.3% one cause that is less favorable treatment of hypothermia Newborns (Dita, 2012). Conclusion: Baby Incubator with temperature control, humidity microcontroller based modules utilize sensor serves as a detector temperature, humidity in the incubator and displayed on the LCD.
