Abstract
Background, heavy workload can affect the health of workers, one of them can be caused by the work process is risk of pain in the part of the body or the emergence of MSDs. Kebumen regency, in Petanahan village (2017) with 50 workers at high risk of MSDs, which amounted to 95.2%. This can be affected the quality of the workers. MSDs can be measured using Nordic Body Map (NBM) with subjective judgments. Objective, determine the correlation workloads with the musculoskeletal disorder (MSDs) on the tiles factory workers in Bumiharjo village Klirong district. Methods, this study used non-experimental quantitative research design with the descriptive correlative method using a cross-sectional approach. The research sample amounted to 67 respondents with a purposive sampling method. The analysis uses univariate analysis (descriptive) and bivariate analysis (hypothesis testing) using the Kendal Tau correlation test with a significant level of 0.05. Results, for light workloads with mild MSDs of 20 workers (29.9%), moderate category 2 workers (3.0%), high and very high categories did not exist. For moderate workload with MSDs in the light category 4 workers (6.0%), medium category 25 workers (37.3%), high category 3 workers (3.0%), very high category 1 worker (1.5% ) And the high workload with MSDs in the light category didn’t exist, the medium category is 2 workers (3.0%), the high category is 6 workers (9.0%), very high is 4 workers (6.0%).
