Abstract
Background fracture is a fracture that is usually caused by trauma or physical exertion, fracture management can be performed ORIF (Open Reduction Internal Fixation), one of the complaints that often arises after surgery is pain, pain in fracture patients if not treated immediately can disrupt hemodialysis , which ultimately can interfere with the rest and healing process of disease, treatments that can be done to overcome pain one of which is slow deep breathing relaxation and autogenic relaxation, this therapy is a form of relaxation therapy to the body's perception that has health benefits that allow the body to feel changes in response pain. The purpose of describing nursing care by providing slow deep breathing relaxation and autogenic relaxation therapy to overcome the problem of decreasing pain intensity in post ORIF (Open Reduction Internal Fixation) patients. The method used is descriptive analiik with a case study approach to 2 clients who experience post ORIF (Open Reduction Internal Fixation) pain. The results of interventions and implementations that need to be done to overcome pain are, stimulus and masasse, ice therapy, warm therapy, distraction, guided imagination, one of which is slow deep breathing relaxation and autogenic relaxation therapy, after the therapy there is a decrease in signs and symptoms of intensity pain with decreased blood pressure and pulse. Recommendations for slow deep breathing relaxation and autogenic relaxation are used for patients with post-ORIF (Open Reduction Internal Fixation) pain and can be applied both at home and in the community.
