Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is an infection caused by TB germs (Mycobacterium tuberculosis). In people who suffer from pulmonary tuberculosis the main symptom that arises is the ineffectiveness of cleaning the airway associated with secretions in bronchil. Effective coughing is an attempt to expel phlegm and keep the lungs clean. Objective: To analyze nursing care ineffectiveness of airway clearance in pulmonary tuberculosis clients undergoing hospitalization in Dahlia Room, RSUD dr. Soedirman Kebumen. Action: Actions taken in handling the problem of ineffective cleaning of the airway, the authors made efective coughing. Results: Nursing diagnoses that appear on the client, namely the ineffectiveness of the airway cleaning associated with the secretion that is restrained. Evaluation: The evaluation results indicate a sign of a decrease in the problem of ineffective airway clearance in pulmonary tuberculosis patients.
