Abstract
Background: Stroke is a disease of acute nerve function decline caused by brain blood vessel disorders, occurring suddenly and quickly which causes symptoms and signs according to the affected brain area. Patients with stroke will experience muscular weakness. Providing murottal and acupressure therapy is effective for increasing muscle strength of stroke patients, acupressure performed in the upper limb can increase muscle and motor strength of patients after stroke. Research Objectives: To describe the application of murottal and acupressure therapy measures to increase the motor strength of post-stroke patients. Method: This research uses descriptive method. There were 2 subjects with left limb hemiparesis patients and 4 muscle strength for seven days. Case Study Results: After the application of murottal and acupressure therapy for seven meetings, the results of muscle strength in the patient Mr. K 4 and Ny. M 4. Recommendations: Application of murottal and acupressure therapy can be applied to stroke patients for more than seven days.
