Abstract
Background : Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic progressive disease in which the body is unable to metabolized fats, proteins and carbohydrates which leads to a state of high glucose hyperglycemia. Gamat is a therapy that can speed up the wound healing process. Objective : knowing the wound healing process of burn which includes three phases : inflammatory phase, reconstructive phase, and maturation phase. Methode : this study is an analytical descriptive with a case study approach. The data was obtained from interview, direct observation, and being documented. Result: after treatment of gamat therapy, the obtained result P1 is D : 3, E : 1, S : 2, I : 1, G : 2, N : 1 while the result P2 is D : 4, E : 2, S : 3, I : 2, G : 4, N : 2. And no pocket P1 and P2. Rekomendation : gamat therapy is recommended for patient with wound Diabetes Mellitus. With the effective result of repair of wound after treatment using gamat tehrapy.
