Abstract
Background : In patients with pulmonary tuberculosis often experienced shortness of breath because there are the accumulation of excess and because the secretions of an infection in the lungs. Pulmonary shortness of breath occurred because the development of imperfect pulmonary by which a part that had been not containing air or else have simply collapsed. In the wake of the shortness of breath problems nursing is related to the way the breath bersihan ineffective. One of effective action to reduce shortness of breath is with therapy exercise his breath for with pursed lip breathing. Objective : To describe the therapeutic application of exercise his breath for pursed lip breathing on a patient with pulmonary tuberculosis to reduce to shortness of breath for SpO2 and RR. Method : A piece of writing this scientific uses the method descriptive analytic with the approach case study. Data is collected from the interviews, observation and. physical examinationThe subject of this method is 2 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. Result : Having given the therapeutic application of procedure exercise his breath for with pursed lip breathing to reduce there has been increasing in spo2 shortness of breath and decreasing of RR. Recommendation : A patient with pulmonary tuberculosis need to apply therapy exercise the breath dlam with pursed lip breathing to reduce shortness of breath, increasing of SpO2 adn decreasing of RR.
