Abstract
Background: One of the nursing problems that arise in stroke patients is an obstacle to physical mobility. The limitation in moving the body parts of stroke patients can increase the risk of complications. Early rehabilitation in stroke cases can improve and restore the independence of stroke patients such as functional, mental and emotional functions. Joint mobilization with Range of Motion (ROM) exercises is one form of early rehabilitation in stroke patients. Purpose of Writing: Describes the results of analysis of nursing care barriers to physical mobility in stroke patients in Prof. dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Hospital Methodology: the methodology used was descriptive analytic with a case study approach in 3 stroke patients with physical mobility constraints. Data presentation by the author is done by drawing conclusions based on subjective and objective data, which are presented in nursing care documentation and resume methods Results: The results of the assessment in the three patients had the same main complaint, namely weakness of the limbs. The priority Diagnosa in all three patients was a barrier to physical mobility associated with neuromuscular disorders. Interventions that have been carried out on the three patients are therapeutic exercise management. The evaluation results after three days of nursing actions showed that nursing problems with physical mobility associated with neuromuscular disorders were overcome by indications of a decrease in symptoms of physical mobility after Range of Motion. Recommendation: ROM exercises need to be programmed in each nursing service institution both by the nurse and in collaboration with the family after the family is first taught about ROM exercises.
